The Islamic School of Brantford is excited to offer a March Break Coding Camp 2026, designed to provide children with a meaningful and productive learning experience during the break. This hands-on technology camp allows students to learn by building real projects in a safe, structured, and engaging environment.
The camp will run March 16-20, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Islamic School of Brantford. Students will be grouped by age to ensure the learning experience matches their level.
For students ages 6-8, the program focuses on Scratch and visual programming, where children learn basic programming concepts through intuitive visual tools. They will create their own games, stories, and animations, making it a fun and beginner-friendly introduction to coding.
For students ages 9-12, the focus will be Web Development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Students will learn how websites are built, how to structure pages, and how to style and enhance them with interactive elements. The course is designed for beginners and requires no previous coding experience.
By the end of the week, every student will complete a project and confidently present it, helping them develop both technical and communication skills.
The camp fee is $250, with an early bird price of $200 for registrations completed before March 1. Students are encouraged to bring their own laptops (BYOD). Spots are limited, so early registration is recommended.
